Client brief

The client wanted to transform their shower room into a dark, atmospheric sanctuary reminiscent of a luxury boutique hotel. Shifting away from conventional light neutrals, they envisioned a cocooning space framed by rich, heavily veined dark stone. Their main priorities included high-quality brushed stainless steel hardware, a streamlined walk-in shower layout, and soft ambient lighting to make the compact footprint feel deeply indulgent.

The process

We planned a high-impact layout that complements the room's rich, dramatic stone backdrop while maximising available floor space. We curated a complete brushed stainless steel brassware package to provide a crisp, modern contrast against the dark surroundings. To introduce soft geometry and warm ambient light, we incorporated a circular steam-free LED mirror above the vanity.

What we did

Cohesive Stainless Steel Specification: Supplied a full suite of Ava Trend brushed stainless steel brassware, including the high-rise monobloc basin mixer, 2-way thermostatic valve, 250mm overhead shower, and integrated hand shower set.

Halo-Lit Ambient Focal Point: Introduced the circular Faeber Glow 600 steam-free LED mirror to cast a soft, ambient glow across the washing area.

Streamlined Sanitaryware: Specified the sleek Faeber Zero toilet pan to keep the floor visual clear and maintain fluid sightlines within the space.

Matching Hardware Detailing: Curated a complete range of matching Ava Round brushed stainless accessories, including the towel bar, robe hook, and toilet roll holder.

Spatial & Lighting Layout Design: Designed a space-maximising walk-in shower layout that balances the dramatic dark surfaces with soft indirect lighting.
